This is a very common question we receive from our clients and there is no right or wrong option, but to assist with the decision here are some helpful insights.
SEED
Lets start with seed, we have two seed options hand seeding or hydro seeding these are both entry level options. With both options you do need to have time on your side as seed does need time to germinate and grow. It can take anywhere from six to eight weeks to develop into a healthy lawn and during this time it may look patchy and uneven. White seeded lawns can eventually look great they do require time, care and favorable weather conditions to establish correctly.
INSTANT TURF
Instant lawn also known as ready lawn is a more expensive option, but it does have the significant advantage of an instant transformation to your outdoor space. Once turf is laid and is watered the grass begins to take root in the prepared soil almost immediately. Instant lawn within a few weeks your new lawn will be healthy, strong and ready to handle normal wear and tear.
ARTIFICIAL TURF
Artificial turf can be a really great alternative option for small areas that don't have easy access with a mower or areas that don't receive much natural light. Or perhaps your busy schedule would be better suited to a low maintenance option that doesn't require much upkeep.
CURVE BALL
Have you ever considered no lawn at all? Why not turn your "Lawn area" into extra garden? This could be a haven for bees and other insects full of colour, texture and even room for vegetables and herbs to grow.
Whichever option you decide on Leading landscapes can help prepare your space and create the right type of lawn for you to enhance your outdoor area and daily life.
